Overview Of The ToneWoodAmp Effects


Effects Recommended Start-Up (Factory Settings):

There are 8 built-in effects with 3 parameters and 10 memory slots per effect.

The numbers in brackets are the default (recommended) values of each effect


  • Hall Reverb (Gain 12, Volume 20)
    1. Decay – The length of the reverb (18)
    2. Pre-delay – how quickly the reverb gets triggered (10)
    3. Hi-cut – a filter, from “bright” to “dark” (5)
  • Room Reverb (Gain 10, Volume 20)
    1. Decay – The length of the reverb (22)
    2. Pre-delay – how quickly the reverb gets triggered (4)
    3. Hi-cut – a filter, from “bright” to “dark” (25)
  • Plate Reverb (Gain 9, Volume 20)
    1. Decay – The length of the reverb (23)
    2. Pre-delay – how quickly the reverb gets triggered (0)
    3. Hi-cut – a filter, from “bright” to “dark” (10)
  • Delay(Gain 10, Volume 18)
    1. Speed* – how fast the delay is (11)
    2. Feedback – number of repeats (11)
    3. Reverb – A basic reverb on top of the delay (9)
  • Tremolo/Delay (Gain 15, Volume 20)
    1. Rate – How fast / speed  (9)
    2. Depth – how noticeable or aggressive the tremolo is (25)
    3. Delay – When the effect will start (5)
  • Leslie style Tremolo(Gain 12, Volume 20)
    1. Rate – How fast (9)
    2. Depth – how noticeable or aggressive the tremolo is (25)
    3. Reverb – A basic reverb on top of the tremolo (25)
  • Auto-Wah(Gain 12, Volume 20)
    1. Sensitivity – how sensitive to your playing is the effect (25)
    2. Envelope – attack, decay, sustain, release (23)
    3. Reverb – A basic reverb on top of the effect (10)
  • Overdrive(Gain 19, Volume 18)
    1. Drive (25)
    2. Filter (25)
    3. Reverb (16)
  • DSP Bypass (Gain 15, Volume 0)
    1. DSP Bypass is not an effect. Good as a method of muting or bypassing the DSP FX 
  • Notch Filters:
    1. Notch Low (no cut at all)
    2. Notch High (Cut 17 on frequency 930Hz)
