Updating to the Latest Software

The latest version of the ToneWoodAmp firmware is 2.70, which includes the following changes:

1. Chorus Effect: An optional update that replaces Overdrive with controllable Rate, Depth, and Reverb parameters.
2. DI Auto-Lock: A new addition to Global Settings. When enabled, it locks the TWA from changing effects or parameters after a set time (between 5-30 seconds) while using the TWA in DI mode. To unlock, hold the Amplitude button down for one second or remove the cable from the output jack.
3. DI Level Type: Another new addition to Global Settings. Choose between Separate or Master options. Selecting Separate allows each effect to have its own independent DI volume (previous firmware versions operated in this manner). Selecting Master controls the DI volume on all effects with one master volume, while still retaining independent gain control for each effect.
4. DI Mute: Changed to a "toggle" control. Quickly mute or activate DI with a single click of the Parameters button in DI Mode. Turning the Parameters knob will exit DI Mute.

Other minor changes include:

- Increased lock and unlock time to one second.

- Removed the "Dim" option from Global Settings, defaulting to 5 seconds.

- Insert Mode now displays the current selection (insert>series or insert>parallel).

- Renamed Notch Low and Hi to Notch 1 and 2 respectively. Notch 2 now covers the full frequency spectrum from 40 Hz to 2090 Hz.

- Various minor bug fixes.

Firmware/Effects Update Utility:

Our Update Utility, compatible with Windows and macOS, allows you to update your ToneWoodAmp to the latest firmware version and load new effects as they become available. Detailed installation and update instructions can be found on our website.
