Understanding the Battery Voltage on the ToneWoodAmp

When turning your ToneWoodAmp on or off, the screen will display the total voltage of all three batteries. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to keep each battery above 1.2V, which adds up to a total of 3.6V.

Most Alkaline AA batteries have a voltage of 1.5V, so when using three of them, the total voltage provided is 4.5V. The ToneWoodAmp operates at its best between 3.8V and 4.5V, and there may be a power loss if the voltage drops below 3.6V during high voltage peaks like hard strums.

For enhanced performance and extended battery life, consider using Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries such as the Tenavolt AA. These batteries do not experience voltage drops as they drain, providing a consistent power supply for your ToneWoodAmp.
