Installing the Tonewoodamp Remote App

Installing and connecting to the Tonewoodamp Remote app for maximum ease of controlling your TWA2

Download the Tonewoodamp Remote app and connect via Bluetooth:

  • Open the App Store on iOS or the Google Play Store on Android and search for Tonewoodamp Remote. Click download.
  • Open the app. Ensure to click yes to allow Bluetooth permissions for the app. 
  • Power on your ToneWoodAmp2 and click the Bluetooth icon in the top right corner of the app.
    • On iOS, you'll see a pop-up asking if your TWA2 is powered on. Click yes.
      • You'll then see another pop-up titled 'Found BT Devices'. Your device will be listed underneath. Note the device name, as this is your Bluetooth ID and you'll need it for registration. It will start with 'TWA'.
      • Click on the device name to connect. 
      • Note: if your device disappears on the Found BT Devices list, click the three lines in the top right corner of the app and turn off Auto Connect to Bluetooth and start the process again. After connecting, you can enable Auto Connect once more. 
    • For Android, you'll see a found devices pop-up. Your TWA will be listed. Note the device name for registration purposes.
      • Click connect.

      If your device does not see the ToneWoodAmp2, follow these steps:
    • Power your ToneWoodAmp2 on and check too see if Bluetooth is on.
      • During the power on process, you'll see a message that shows if Bluetooth is on or off. If off, do the following:
        • Simultaneously Click HOME button and the third + toggle to access Code Updates menu.
        • Click number button(2) to turn Bluetooth (BLE) on or off.
      • If on follow these steps:
        • Access settings for your device.
        • Search for Tonewoodamp Remote and click on the settings for the app
        • Enable Bluetooth
        • Follow the above steps to connect via the Tonewoodamp Remote App.
